1. NOVA Scholarship for African students
The NOVA Scholarship for African students is a scholarship that covers the costs of studies at the University of Lisbon. The scholarship has a duration of one year, and it’s worth €10,000 per annum.
The eligibility criteria include: being a citizen of an African country; having completed two years of high school or equivalent; and having been nominated by your academic institution (if you are applying from abroad).
The application period for this scholarship closes on 30th October 2023 but you can apply during any time before this date if you wish to do so.
2. Fulbright Program Scholarship in USA 2021
The Fulbright Program is an international educational exchange program. It provides grants for study and research at universities in the United States, as well as other countries.
Fulbright recipients are awarded a one-year scholarship that covers full tuition fees at participating institutions and includes a stipend (living allowance) of $5,000 per month while they are studying there. 3. Oxford College Africa Scholarship in UK 2023
Oxford College Africa Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to African students who are pursuing postgraduate studies at Oxford College. The scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses for one academic year. It can also be renewed for another academic year if the student doesn’t enroll in a higher degree course or does not meet the entry requirements of his/her chosen university before completing their undergraduate degree program. Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have been born on or after 1st January 1990 (excluding those from Brazil).
- You must have been accepted by any UK higher education institution as an undergraduate student, including those studying at Oxford University; however, you cannot apply for this scholarship if you intend to study at another school within England.

5. CERN Internship and Fellowship Programme for African students 2023
CERN is the world’s largest particle physics laboratory. It is located in Geneva, Switzerland, and operates the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), an underground particle accelerator that was built by a partnership between CERN and other European countries.
In addition to research into fundamental particles and forces of nature, it also conducts research on higher dimensions of space-time through its accelerator capabilities. It was founded by 10 European countries as an international organization dedicated to basic research in physics; today CERN consists of 28 member states with close ties across borders—particularly those connecting France with Italy or Germany with Spain or Portugal—as well as some independent states like China (which has joined since 2013).
CERN currently houses over 7500 researchers from about 100 different fields: particle physicists who study subatomic particles such as quarks or gluons; nuclear scientists who study atomic nuclei; engineers designing mechanical parts for accelerators such as magnets needed for LHC experiments; mathematicians working on computer simulations used for testing predictions made by physicists’ theories about how nature works at smaller scales than those observable in everyday life.”

Scholarships are also available for Masters and PhD studies; however there are no scholarships available specifically for PhD students.

The THES-QS World University Rankings are a set of international university rankings issued by the Thomson Reuters Foundation for the 2016/17 academic year.
The scholarship program offers full tuition fees and an annual stipend in addition to other benefits including travel support and accommodation assistance.
The scholarships are open to international students who are studying full time at any UK university or college, as well as those enrolled on postgraduate courses at institutions in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Students must also have completed their first year before applying for this scholarship.

The Chevening UK Government Scholarships is a scholarship program for international students who want to study in the UK. There are two types of scholarships available:
